Well, Anime Boston 2008 has come and gone and kudos to everyone. While I am a full time software engineer living and working in Massachusetts, art has been my life long passion.
At this Anime convention I did not have a table, but had art pieces displayed at the Art Show section. It has been quite successful as I sold several pieces to pretty much cover all the expenses for the convention. Clearly, the most popular was the Cloud piece. It was somewhat amusing to see everybody and his sister dressed as Cloud Strife from FF7: Advent Children at the convention. While it says something about the lack of originality in our society, who am I to criticize this since I drew him too and made money off his popularity. Thanks goes to the certain metrosexual broadsword wielding biker.
In coming days this page should have a lot more works and links. So check back some time!

) I got a DVD as a prize and my Virtua Fighter buddy ironzen (the runner-up) received a t-shirt. Kudos to everyone I met at the tournament and at the con.

Star Wars models for DAZ
Images of available Star Wars models for your 3D rendering. Note that these are not downloads but, where possible, download links will be on the pages. Another Brattle Theater entry
I have been neglecting this page for over a year. I have been neglecting a lot of things really. One of the few things I didn't neglect this year was the Brattle Theater competition and here is the link for my entry back in July. Received the runner-up prize. Mina Supul R.I.P (Aug 2005 -July 2009)
It's a shame that good die young. She was the meekest feline companion one could possibly ask for but she had to be put to sleep. I should at least be able to give her a proper funeral.
The first teaser for Manga Wars Episode 2
Well, good or bad, here is the first teaser.

This movie will be longer, darker and have more characters and body count than the first one, as all sequels are supposed to. As such, the amount of work still needed for this movie is daunting. While I wish to finish this by May 2009 for the Anime Boston convention, we will see how it goes.
I will be leaving on my long deserved vacation at the end of this week. Hopefully it will be an opportunity to recharge and recover from all the stresses from works, finances (ouch) and other tribulations of life.

Sorry we didn't meet up! But did you go to the Pillows concert? Didn't it just rock out in utter spectacularness, especially when they came back for encour!? The cosplay human chess was a riot too!
