Another Brattle Theater entry
I have been neglecting this page for over a year. I have been neglecting a lot of things really. One of the few things I didn't neglect this year was the Brattle Theater competition and here is the link for my entry back in July. Received the runner-up prize. Written, animated, directed and voice recorded in less than two weeks.

Mina Supul R.I.P (Aug 2005 -July 2009)
It's a shame that good die young. She was the meekest feline companion one could possibly ask for but she had to be put to sleep. I should at least be able to give her a proper funeral.

This movie will be longer, darker and have more characters and body count than the first one, as all sequels are supposed to. As such, the amount of work still needed for this movie is daunting. While I wish to finish this by May 2009 for the Anime Boston convention, we will see how it goes.
I will be leaving on my long deserved vacation at the end of this week. Hopefully it will be an opportunity to recharge and recover from all the stresses from works, finances (ouch) and other tribulations of life.
Also, I made a preliminary version of the web
Boston Action Film Festival Recap
I actually found myself quite impressed with this event, much better than my expectations or the poster suggested. Granted none of the films would win a short film oscar, but most of them had impressive action choreography and some of them actually had good production values. A few of them even had interesting stories and scripts.
An extra point to ponder:
Jeff, who organized the festival, said one of his motivations for organizing this event was the upcoming establishment of the Plymouth Rock Studios AKA Holywood East. The official website of the Studio: http://www.plymouthrockstudios.com/
